Street Arts at the Heart of the Territory
The Festival Mosaïque, supported by the Faïencerie Théâtre de Creil, is a major event for the cultural season in the Creil Sud Oise agglomeration. For four days, about ten towns host free performances in their public spaces, offering residents quality artistic programming close to home.
A Multidisciplinary Program
The festival offers a mosaic of artistic disciplines: contemporary dance, street theater, circus, artistic installations, musical performances, and visual arts. Each performance is designed to take over public space and create direct interaction between artists and spectators, without barriers or boundaries.
Performances in Public Spaces
Village squares, parks, schoolyards, esplanades, and streets are transformed into ephemeral stages. The invited companies create performances specifically adapted to the locations they occupy, offering a unique and different experience in each participating town.
An Itinerant Festival
One of Mosaïque's unique features is its itinerant nature. The festival unfolds across 11 towns in the agglomeration, allowing spectators to discover performances just a short distance from their homes. Free shuttles connect the different sites throughout the festival, facilitating movement between performances.
A Commitment to Accessibility
Mosaïque embodies the Faïencerie Théâtre's commitment to making culture accessible to all. All programming is free, and the festival is aimed at all audiences, from the youngest to the oldest. Cultural mediators accompany spectators and offer opportunities for discussion with the artists.
The Faïencerie Théâtre, Cultural Engine
The Faïencerie Théâtre de Creil, a national conventioned stage, is the artistic driving force behind the festival. It selects the companies, coordinates the programming, and manages the logistics of this ambitious event, which mobilizes dozens of volunteers and local partners.
