About Prom'Aude

Prom'Aude — Festival Aude al Pais is the annual major event for producers, artisans, and cultural actors of the Aude department, organized every first weekend of June at Parc de Gaujac in Lezignan-Corbieres. Since 1989, this 100% terroir festival brings together thirteen thematic areas showcasing gastronomy, craftsmanship, viticulture, and Occitan culture. With its concerts, tastings, living farm, and Occitan village, Prom'Aude attracts tens of thousands of visitors each year to celebrate the identity and richness of the Aude region.

The essential meeting for Aude's terroirs

Prom'Aude — Festival Aude al Pais was born in 1989 from the desire to highlight the know-how of the women and men of Aude. Every year, at the beginning of June, the Parc de Gaujac in Lezignan-Corbieres transforms into a huge festive village where agricultural producers, winemakers, artisans, cultural associations, and artists gather for three days of sharing and conviviality. The event is organized by the Prom'Aude association, with the support of the Occitanie Region and the Aude Department.

Thirteen thematic areas to discover

The festival is structured around thirteen thematic areas that cover the richness of the Aude territory. The Occitan village celebrates the Occitan language and traditions through workshops, dances, and traditional music. The gastronomy and wine areas offer tastings of local products: AOC Corbieres, Minervois, Limoux wines, honeys, cheeses, cured meats, and local specialties. The artisanal market brings together potters, cutlers, weavers, and art creators. The living farm and the equestrian village delight families, while an area dedicated to ecological transition raises visitors' awareness of environmental issues.

Concerts, shows, and entertainment for everyone

Prom'Aude's music program features Occitan artists and world music, with open-air concerts every evening. Live performance troupes, brass bands, and traditional dance groups entertain visitors in the park's alleys throughout the day. Children enjoy dedicated play areas with creative workshops, wooden games, pony rides, and puppet shows. The festival aims to be family-friendly, accessible, and rooted in the values of sharing and discovery.

A unifying event for the entire department

With over 35,000 visitors over three days, Prom'Aude has become a truly unifying event for the Aude department. Exhibitors come from all over the territory: Corbieres, Minervois, Haute Vallee de l'Aude, Lauragais, Pays de Sault, Narbonnais, and Carcassonnais. The entrance fee remains deliberately symbolic (2 euros per day, free for children under 12) to allow as many people as possible to participate in this celebration of Aude's terroirs and culture.

Prom'Aude — edition 2026

2026 Edition cancelled. Initially scheduled from June 5th to 7th, 2026, at Parc de Gaujac in Lezignan-Corbieres, the 2026 edition of Prom'Aude — Festival Aude al Pais has been cancelled due to damage caused by storms Nils and Pedro in February 2026 at the Gaujac site. The association has announced a transition year, with a return planned for 2027 for the 35th edition.

⚠ 2026 Edition cancelled — transition year. The 2026 edition of Prom'Aude, which was scheduled to take place from June 5th to 7th, 2026, at Parc de Gaujac in Lezignan-Corbieres, was officially cancelled by the Prom'Aude association on March 4th, 2026.

Why this cancellation?

Storms Nils and Pedro, which affected the Aude region in February 2026, severely damaged the Gaujac site, the usual venue for the festival. The organizers stated that «it is not possible to host the event on site under good conditions» and that the safety of exhibitors, partners, and visitors could not be guaranteed.

A transition year, not an end

The Prom'Aude association insists: «This forced break does not mark the end of the Prom'Aude dynamic, quite the opposite.» 2026 becomes a transition year to:

  • strengthen the organizing collective;
  • organize meetings between local stakeholders;
  • develop new initiatives in support of the local economy;
  • collectively reflect on the future of the project.

See you in 2027

The 35th edition of Prom'Aude is postponed to 2027. The organizers also announce a change in format starting from 2027: three evenings and two days, scheduled for June 5th, 6th, and 7th (instead of the usual Pentecost weekend). The 2027 and 2028 editions are not called into question.
