The largest multi-day hike in Berry

Since 1986, the Randonnée de la Brenne has been showcasing the natural and heritage riches of the Brenne Regional Natural Park, nicknamed the 'Land of a Thousand Ponds'. Organized by about a hundred passionate local volunteers, this three-day multi-day hike starts from the Bellebouche leisure center in Mézières-en-Brenne for a journey through landscapes of ponds, heathlands, and forests.

Accessible to all, by all means

The event is open to all levels and all modes of transport: on foot, by mountain bike, on horseback, or by carriage. Hikers cover stages of 32 to 35 km per day, with the option of a half-stage. Mountain bikers can cover between 32 and 90 km per day depending on their level. The entire route is marked and secured by the association's volunteers.

Musical stops and nature discoveries

What makes the Randonnée de la Brenne unique are its musical refreshment stops: along the route, musicians welcome hikers for moments of conviviality. The stages are also punctuated by nature discoveries, heritage, and local traditions, led by nature guides and local enthusiasts.

The RandoBren'Festival: the party after the hike

Every evening, after the day's efforts, it's time for celebration! The RandoBren'Festival offers open-air concerts at the Bellebouche leisure center. A festive and friendly atmosphere is guaranteed, with a varied musical program that brings together hikers and local residents for unforgettable evenings under the Brenne stars.

A commitment to the territory

The association 'La Randonnée de la Brenne', with its 70 volunteers, works to promote the Brenne region. Since the first edition in 1986, the ambition has always been to showcase the beauty of Brenne through a sporting, cultural, and festive event. The event contributes to the tourist dynamism of Mézières-en-Brenne and the Regional Natural Park.
