Spectacles sous les Arbres

A day of performances in the heart of the Brenne

Organized by the Barda company, the Spectacles sous les Arbres festival transforms the green setting of Mézières-en-Brenne into an open-air stage for a day. This multidisciplinary event offers a rich and eclectic program that takes place from the afternoon until the evening, inviting the public to let themselves be carried from one performance to another in a relaxed and festive atmosphere.

An eclectic and all-audience program

Each edition offers a carefully composed program mixing different artistic forms. Among the highlights are Bulle, a musical and drawing nap conducive to relaxation, Vert Tige, a garden show about our relationship with nature, Bonheur à la Carte, a musical fortune-telling show, and Mazingue, a theatrical and musical show exploring world music with humor and poetry. The screening of the short film Detrack, a clownish and fantastic road movie, completes this varied program.

Workshops and conviviality

Beyond the shows, the day offers creative workshops such as cyanotype, an old photographic technique for creating blue prints from plants. A refreshment stand and light catering on site allow you to eat throughout the day, reinforcing the friendly and rural atmosphere of the event.
