The birth of a tribute festival in the Ried

The Rock'M Ried Festival was born in 2022, driven by the Zik'Inside association from Colmar and its founder Patrick Georgenthum, in co-production with PAGEO Productions. The idea is simple and ambitious: to offer classic rock fans a festival entirely dedicated to tribute bands that reproduce with remarkable fidelity the legendary concerts of the greatest rock bands of the 70s, 80s, and 90s. The Espace Ried Brun in Muntzenheim, a modern performance venue nestled in the heart of the Alsatian Ried, hosts this unmissable event.

International level tributes

The strength of the Rock'M Ried Festival lies in the exceptional quality of its tribute bands. Coming from France, Germany, Italy, and elsewhere in Europe, these professional musicians do not just cover a repertoire: they recreate the complete stage experience of the original artists, with perfect musical, physical, and visual mimicry. Since its creation, the festival has hosted dIRE sTRATS (Dire Straits tribute, Germany), Queenmania (Queen tribute, Italy), Time to Tramp (Supertramp tribute, France), Jugando (Santana tribute), ACDI (AC/DC tribute), Snaggletooth (Motörhead tribute), and many others.

Three days between May and June

The festival takes place over three days, from Friday to Sunday, straddling May and June. Each evening features one or two concerts in a high-energy rock atmosphere. The Espace Ried Brun opens its doors in the late afternoon, allowing festival-goers to enjoy free pre-concerts before the main evening shows. The free parking lot with 154 spaces facilitates access to the site, with reserved spaces for people with reduced mobility.

Beyond the concerts

The Rock'M Ried Festival is not limited to stage tributes. The festival also features exhibitions on the world of rock: collectible guitars, artisan luthiers, and rock memorabilia. "Rock for Kids" sessions, with metal covers of children's rhymes, have also been programmed during some editions. The festival attracts a family and intergenerational audience, united by a common passion for classic rock.
