Salon des Vins et de la Gastronomie d'Ambonnay

A show in the heart of the Champagne vineyards

Created in 2002 by the Amicale des Sapeurs-Pompiers d'Ambonnay, the Salon des Vins et de la Gastronomie has become a must-attend event for wine and gastronomy lovers in the Marne region. Held in the prestigious Salle Dom Pérignon, in the heart of the village of Ambonnay — classified as a Grand Cru de Champagne —, this event offers three days of discoveries, tastings, and conviviality in an authentic and warm setting.

Wines from all regions of France

The show brings together around thirty wine producers from all the major French wine regions. Visitors can taste and buy wines from Burgundy, the Loire Valley, Bordeaux, the Rhône Valley, Languedoc-Roussillon, the Southwest, and Corsica. A tasting glass is offered to each visitor upon entry, allowing them to explore the stands and discover a wide variety of grape varieties and terroirs.

Gastronomy in the spotlight

Beyond wines, the show highlights local products and gastronomy. Exhibitors offer artisanal charcuterie, duck and foie gras products, snails, farm cheeses like Morbier and Comté AOP, pastries, honey, truffles, and oysters. A seafood stand welcomes visitors at the entrance to the show, completing a varied and generous gourmet offering.

A solidarity and friendly event

Organized by volunteer firefighters from Ambonnay, the show contributes to the financing of the association's activities. A champagne bar run by the firefighters livens up the evenings, while daily raffles offer the chance to win magnums. The warm and family atmosphere, driven by the commitment of the volunteers, makes this event a moment of sharing appreciated by the approximately 1,800 loyal visitors who gather in Ambonnay every autumn.
