About Gourmand'ici
Gourmand'ici is the food and local produce festival of West Aveyron, supported by the Bastides et Gorges de l'Aveyron community of communes. Every year in September, this free and family-friendly event invites young and old to discover the flavours of the region through culinary workshops, tastings of local products, meetings with producers, and activities focused on family and sustainable cooking. As a travelling festival, it settles in a different commune of the territory with each edition (Villefranche-de-Rouergue, La Fouillade…), always in a friendly and participatory atmosphere.
A gourmet festival in the heart of West Aveyron
Born from the desire to celebrate the gastronomic riches of West Aveyron, the Gourmand'ici festival has established itself as a back-to-school event in the Bastides et Gorges de l'Aveyron territory. Supported by the community of communes, this free event annually transforms a commune of the territory into a large market of flavours, bringing together producers, artisans, chefs, and lovers of good food. A travelling festival, it was notably hosted in Villefranche-de-Rouergue before settling in La Fouillade for its 3rd edition in 2026.
Cook, knead, taste: a participatory festival
Gourmand'ici's motto is simple: “we cook, we knead, we taste!” The festival offers stands and workshops where visitors can learn to cook with local products. Tastings of honey, Aveyron veal, edible flowers, pancake workshops, bicycle smoothies, lacto-fermentation: each edition is full of culinary discoveries and fun activities for the whole family.
A commitment to local and sustainable food
Beyond the gourmet celebration, Gourmand'ici carries a strong message in favour of local and sustainable food. The festival offers a sustainable food forum bringing together producers, market gardeners, and short-supply chain actors. The locavore and low-carbon meals offered during the event concretely illustrate the possibility of enjoying oneself while respecting the environment and the seasons. Guided walks, conferences, and round tables complete this educational and committed dimension.
A territory of bastides and gorges
The editions of Gourmand'ici take place in the villages and bastides of West Aveyron, a territory with rich architectural and natural heritage. Visitors can extend their discovery by strolling through medieval streets, visiting local heritage, or enjoying the gourmet markets that enliven the region.

Third edition of the Gourmand'ici festival, on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in La Fouillade (Aveyron). This itinerant edition of the cuisine and local produce festival of Western Aveyron leaves Villefranche-de-Rouergue to settle for a day in La Fouillade, with guided walks, participatory culinary workshops, producer stands, and tastings of local products. Gourmand'ici 2026: 3rd edition in La Fouillade
For its third edition, the Gourmand'ici festival will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in La Fouillade, in Western Aveyron. After a previous edition in Villefranche-de-Rouergue, the gourmet event of the Bastides et Gorges de l'Aveyron community of communes changes location and takes over the heart of La Fouillade for an entire day dedicated to local flavors.
Conceived «for the territory and its actors», the festival remains true to its philosophy: free, family-friendly, and participatory, it invites young and old to cook, knead, and taste. The announced program includes: guided walks, culinary workshops, producer stands, and tastings of local products, in the spirit of local and sustainable food.

Access
The festival takes place on Place Notre-Dame, in the heart of the Villefranche-de-Rouergue bastide (12200). The town center is accessible by car via the D922 from Rodez (approx. 55 min) or from Cahors (approx. 1h). Free parking near the center.
- By car: From Rodez, follow D994 then D922. From Toulouse, take the A68 then D922 via Gaillac and Cordes-sur-Ciel (approx. 2h).
- By train: Villefranche-de-Rouergue SNCF station, served from Toulouse (approx. 2h) and Rodez.
