About La BD prend l'air

Every year in late September, "La BD prend l'air" brings comic book enthusiasts together in the village of Cajarc, in the Lot department. Organized by a non-profit volunteer association, the event connects authors, publishers, and the public through a series of exhibitions, book signings, and meet-and-greets held across various village venues. The festival also hosts school outreach programs to introduce young people to the art of drawing and comics. Each year, the event presents the Safran d'Or, a public-voted award, as well as a Discovery Prize for emerging authors.
