The biggest event dedicated to chocolate and pastry in Lyon
The Lyon version of the famous Salon du Chocolat, this event brings together the best chocolatiers and pastry chefs from the region and France every year at the Halle Tony Garnier. For three days, 17,000 visitors discover demonstrations at the Pastry Show, chocolate dress fashion shows, workshops for children, and tastings of exceptional creations. A must-attend event for all cocoa lovers.
The Salon du Chocolat Lyon, organized by Comexposium, is the Lyon version of the international event created in 1994. Since its first local edition in 2015, the show has established itself as a must-attend event on the Lyon gourmet scene, highlighting the exceptional know-how of chocolatiers and pastry chefs from the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and all of France.
The show spans three days at the Halle Tony Garnier, an emblematic historic monument in the 7th arrondissement of Lyon. More than 60 exhibitors — chocolatiers, pastry chefs, confectioners, roasters, and cocoa producers — present their creations and offer tastings.
A true culinary stage at the heart of the show, the Pastry Show hosts live demonstrations by renowned pastry chefs and chocolatiers. Tempering techniques, chocolate sculpting, creation of exceptional desserts: each demonstration is a fascinating spectacle that reveals the secrets of cocoa artisans.
An emblematic highlight of the Salon du Chocolat, the chocolate fashion show features dresses and clothing creations entirely made of chocolate by couturier-chocolatier duos. A unique show that combines haute couture and high chocolate making in a spectacular parade.
The Junior space offers chocolate modeling and decoration workshops for children, making the show a family event par excellence. Conferences and meetings with cocoa producers complete the program, raising visitors' awareness of the challenges of sustainable cocoa farming.
After being hosted at the Cité Internationale Convention Centre, the show moved in 2025 to the Halle Tony Garnier, offering a larger space and an improved visitor experience. The 12th edition in February 2025 confirmed the success of this new venue with 17,000 visitors and 63 exhibitors.
The 2026 edition of the Salon du Chocolat de Lyon having been postponed, the show will return in 2027 with a redesigned and renewed edition at the Halle Tony Garnier. The precise dates will be announced later.
