Twenty years of theater in Sarrebourg
The Sarrebourg en Scène Festival celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2025, an anniversary that testifies to the deep roots of this event in the cultural life of Sarrebourg and southern Moselle. For two decades, the festival has brought the stage of the Espace Le Lorrain to life by offering an accessible and varied theatrical program.
Professionals and amateurs on stage
The originality of Sarrebourg en Scène lies in the mix of professional and amateur troupes. The festival offers a showcase for local and regional companies that perform alongside established artists. This coexistence enriches the program and creates positive emulation between the different levels of theatrical practice.
An eclectic program
The festival's program covers a wide range to reach all audiences: light and satirical comedies, improvisation theater, dramatic plays, youth shows, one-man/one-woman shows, and even concerts punctuate the two weeks of the festival. Each evening holds a different surprise, ensuring a constant renewal of the artistic offering.
The Espace Le Lorrain, Sarrebourg's performance venue
The Espace Le Lorrain, located at 43 avenue Poincaré in Sarrebourg, is the central venue of the festival. This versatile performance hall offers quality technical conditions to host theatrical performances, with an adapted capacity that promotes proximity between artists and the audience.
Ultra-accessible prices
Sarrebourg en Scène stands out for its very accessible pricing policy: €7 full price and €4 reduced price for shows, and only €4 for youth performances. This commitment to making theater accessible to all budgets is at the heart of the festival's project.
A festival for the region
Sarrebourg, a sub-prefecture of Moselle, is the cultural hub of southern Moselle. The festival contributes to the animation of the city and its surrounding area, offering a quality cultural alternative in a semi-rural environment. It participates in the democratization of live performance and access to culture for populations far from major cities.
