The largest international festival dedicated to TV series, in Lille
Séries Mania is the largest international festival dedicated to TV series. Based in Lille since 2018, it brings together over 100,000 spectators and 4,000 professionals every March for world premieres, masterclasses, and a professional Forum. Free for the public, the festival offers about fifty series from fifteen countries in official competition.
Since 2018, Séries Mania has established its headquarters in Lille, transforming the capital of Flanders into the global epicenter of television series. Originally created in Paris in 2010, the festival found an ideal setting in Lille to fulfill its ambition: to become the unmissable event for international series creation.
Each edition hosts a selection of around 50 series from about fifteen countries, including numerous world premieres. Screenings take place in Lille's cinemas and cultural venues: UGC Ciné Cité, Le Nouveau Siècle, le Tripostal, Gare Saint-Sauveur, and the Palais des Beaux-Arts. Official competitions with international juries award the most coveted prizes in the series world.
The Séries Mania Forum brings together over 4,000 international professionals for three days at Lille Grand Palais. Project pitches, conferences, networking sessions, and the Lille Dialogues, an international summit bringing together European decision-makers and media leaders, make it one of the most important professional markets dedicated to series in the world.
One of Séries Mania's unique features is its free access for the public. Spectators can attend screenings, masterclasses, and meetings without spending a cent, making the festival a truly popular and open event for everyone. The 2025 edition attracted 108,000 spectators, confirming the event's steady growth.
Beyond the festival, Séries Mania has developed an Institute based in Lille, dedicated to training, research, and talent development in the field of series creation.
The 2026 edition of Séries Mania will be held from March 20 to 27 in Lille. The selection includes 51 series, 42 of which are new, from 16 countries, with 15 French series. The Professional Forum is scheduled from March 24 to 26.
