An event rooted in the energy transition

The Show de Vent was born from the desire of the association ETAP 52 (Ensemble pour un Territoire d'Avenir et de Projets) to highlight the presence of the wind farm in the Germisay area and to make it a driver of local dynamism. Rather than passively accepting the installation of wind turbines, the inhabitants chose to transform it into a festive and educational opportunity, creating a unique annual event of its kind in Haute-Marne.

Discovery workshops and awareness of renewable energies

At the heart of the program, discovery workshops on renewable energies allow visitors of all ages to understand how wind turbines work, the challenges of the energy transition, and everyday actions for the environment. Activities on recycling, eco-friendly DIY, and nature discovery complement the educational aspect of the event. The open days at the wind farm, organized in partnership with ENGIE Green, are a highlight of the day: visitors can get close to the wind turbines, ask technicians their questions, and discover the behind-the-scenes of green electricity production.

Market of producers, artisans, and flea market

Show de Vent is also a celebration of the Haute-Marne region's local products. A market of local producers and artisans showcases the region's know-how: cheeses, honey, jams, cured meats, artisanal breads, handcrafted creations, and many other products to discover and taste. A flea market and garage sale complete the offerings, giving bargain hunters the chance to find treasures in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Registration is free for producer, artisan, and flea market exhibitors.

Cabaret evening and local gastronomy

The day continues into the evening with a festive cabaret combining live performances and a gastronomic meal made from local products. This moment of sharing and conviviality brings together villagers, visitors, and exhibitors around a generous table, in the spirit of celebration and solidarity that characterizes the ETAP 52 association.

A village focused on the future

Germisay is a small rural commune of about twenty inhabitants, nestled in the Haute-Marne countryside, about 17 kilometers southeast of Joinville. Despite its modest size, the village shows remarkable dynamism thanks to the commitment of its inhabitants and the ETAP 52 association. Show de Vent embodies this desire to bring the rural territory to life, create social connections, and raise awareness among as many people as possible about environmental issues, in a festive and popular spirit.
