Têt en Fête: The banks of the Têt transformed into a summer living space
Since 2021, Têt en Fête has taken over the banks of the Têt at the Torcatis passage every summer, transforming this space in the heart of Perpignan into a truly festive and friendly living area. For over a month, from mid-July to mid-August, terraces, chalets, and guinguettes welcome locals and visitors in a relaxed and warm atmosphere.
An innovative concept by the water
The concept of Têt en Fête was born from the City of Perpignan's desire to enhance the banks of the Têt as a space for leisure and culture. The Torcatis passage is transformed into an ephemeral village where you can eat, have a drink on the terrace, and enjoy various entertainment throughout the day and evening.
The space is open from 11 am to 11 pm from Sunday to Wednesday, and from 11 am to midnight from Thursday to Saturday, allowing everyone to enjoy the atmosphere at any time of the day.
A musical and festive program
On Thursday evenings, the banks vibrate to the sound of DJ sets, while Saturdays host various live concerts. The 2025 edition notably featured the Villa Royale Quartet for the opening night, Dhoad Gypsies (Indian music and dance), a swing ball with Les Mademoiselles, and Sacha and the Boris (folk rock) for the closing.
A growing summer event
In just five editions, Têt en Fête has established itself as one of Perpignan's major summer events. The festival contributes to the animation of the city center during the summer period and to the enhancement of urban natural spaces along the Têt.
