About The World Today Festival

Born in 2017 from the initiative of two friends passionate about electronic music, The World Today Festival beautifully concludes each summer by making the Villé Valley vibrate from Saint-Martin (Bas-Rhin). Having become an unmissable event in the Grand Est region, it brings together over 4,000 festival-goers in a natural and bucolic setting. Supported by the Elsass Vibes association and over 100 volunteers, the festival offers two evenings blending electro and contemporary music, with an ambitious lineup each year featuring renowned artists. With handmade decorations, an eco-responsible approach, free camping, local food, and a warm atmosphere, The World Today offers an authentic and friendly musical experience in the heart of the Alsatian mountains.

A festival born in the heart of the Villé Valley

The history of The World Today Festival is part of the cultural dynamic of the Villé Valley, in Alsace. Born in 2017, it is the result of a simple desire: to create an accessible, warm, and locally rooted musical event. Supported from its beginnings by a young and passionate team, the festival has developed naturally, edition after edition, to become one of the most anticipated summer events in the region. Today, it brings together over 4,000 festival-goers and has established itself as a highlight of late summer in the valley.

Le Champ du Honcourt: an exceptional natural setting

The festival takes place on the prairie of Saint-Martin, in the heart of the Villé Valley, in a privileged natural setting where the Alsatian mountains surround an open-air site with an authentic atmosphere. This natural decor, typical of the Vosges landscapes, accompanies each concert and contributes to the vibrant atmosphere of the festival. The free camping, located a stone's throw from the site and open all weekend, reinforces this welcome sense of escape, offering festival-goers a true moment away from daily life.

A program designed to enhance the end of summer

The World Today champions a program that brings together essential headliners and emerging artists, exploring a wide panorama of contemporary music. The 2026 edition fully illustrates this diversity with Feder, Møme, Étienne de Crécy, Borris Way, and Kemmler, alongside many promising talents. The festival is structured around two complementary evenings, designed to offer a rich, accessible, and festive musical experience, where each artist brings their color and energy.

An associative dynamic at the heart of the festival

Supported by the young and passionate association Elsass Vibes, as well as by a hundred volunteers mobilized for the event, The World Today is based on an independent and responsible model deeply rooted in the Villé Valley. The various bars offer a varied selection of craft beers from local breweries, which have become a popular landmark for festival-goers. The catering, focused on homemade food and products from the valley, extends this desire to promote the territory and those who work there. Thanks to the commitment of its association and its volunteers, The World Today asserts a friendly, sustainable, and resolutely local identity, to allow everyone to fully enjoy a festive and memorable weekend.
