Touraine en Jeux is a free festival dedicated to board games, role-playing games, multimedia games, and wooden games, organized every year in July in La Riche by the association La Riche Ludique in partnership with the city. Created in 2024, this summer event welcomed over 1,100 participants in its very first edition. The festival spans three days at the Complexe Bialy with a rich program: modern board games, role-playing games with the association Ad Vitam Rôlistam, classic games (Scrabble, Mahjong), children's games, tactical tournaments, and a multimedia area.

The gaming event of Touraine
Touraine en Jeux was born in 2024 from the passion of two game enthusiasts, Olivier and Philippe, founders of the association La Riche Ludique (LRL). This free festival, organized in partnership with the city of La Riche, has established itself from its very first edition as a must-attend event for board game and gaming culture enthusiasts in Indre-et-Loire, welcoming over 1,100 participants.
A varied gaming program
The festival offers a rich program covering all facets of gaming culture. Modern board games are at the heart of the event, with hundreds of titles freely accessible and facilitators available to explain the rules. Role-playing games, led by the association Ad Vitam Rôlistam, allow novices and experienced players alike to experience imaginary adventures. Classic games (Scrabble, Mahjong, chess) and traditional wooden games are featured alongside a multimedia and video game space.
Spaces for all ages
Touraine en Jeux is designed to welcome all audiences. A dedicated children's area offers games suitable for the youngest, while experienced gamers gather for more competitive tactical tournaments and duels. Families can discover new games together in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, guided by passionate volunteers.
Three days of celebration at the Complexe Bialy
The festival spans three days at the Complexe Bialy in La Riche, with an opening evening on Friday, a full day on Saturday, and a closing day on Sunday. The venue features a beer garden and barbecue for on-site dining in a friendly, summery atmosphere. Admission is completely free, both for visitors and exhibitors, in a spirit of sharing and discovery.

La Riche, a town bordering Tours, hosts game nights organized by La Riche Ludique throughout the year. The Touraine en Jeux festival is the highlight of this associative activity, bringing together all the players in Touraine's gaming culture in one place.
