Volcanic Fest — edition 2026
Volcanic Fest 2026: The First Eruption
The 1st edition of Volcanic Fest will take place from July 24 to 26, 2026 at the C.A.B.L. – Complexe d'Animation des Bords de Loire in Andrézieux-Bouthéon. Over 30 bands will perform on a single stage for three days of metal and alternative rock musical eruption.
Headliners
The lineup features confirmed acts from the French and European scene. Klone, a French reference in progressive and art-rock, will deliver one of the festival's major sets. Black Bomb A, veterans of French crossover metal and hardcore, will bring their raw energy. Eihwar, a revelation in neo-Viking pagan folk, Naheulband, a humorous metal band from the world of Donjon de Naheulbeuk, and Dropdead Chaos will complete the top billing.
Emerging Scene in the Spotlight
True to its mission to showcase the emerging scene, the festival will feature rising bands during the day: Magoyond (epic power metal), Silver Dust (Swiss theatrical gothic metal band), LocoMuerte, Eight Sins, Hrafngrímr, Heavylution, FTS, Death Decline, Faith In Agony, Sevi, Perseide, Bangalore Choir, and Sangdragon. The discovery continues with Emerald Moon, Barth Sky, Charcoal, Amon Sethis, Bards Of Backwater, Crystal Throne, eOn, JJAX, Mess Out, Naraka, Oozer Pit, Smyu, Stone Horns, Waking The Sleeping Bear, and Wedingoth.
Beyond the Music
The weekend will be enriched by an artisan village featuring about forty exhibitors from the metal and alternative universe (tattooing, piercing, artisanal creations), conferences organized by the Fédération des Musiques Métalliques, local catering cooked on-site, game stands, and challenges between festival-goers. The solidarity Sunday will be dedicated to the associations Une Rose Un Espoir and Ligue contre le Cancer.

A musical eruption born of passion
Volcanic Fest was born from the vision of a musician and a team of experienced festival-goers, driven by the association Teamduc's Production. Artistically directed by Le Mago, singer of the band Magoyond, and managed by Samaël as festival director, this project embodies a "musical and human eruption" dedicated to the emerging rock and metal scene. The choice of Andrézieux-Bouthéon, near Saint-Étienne and in the heart of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, anchors the festival in a territory rich in volcanic and industrial history.
A 100% French-speaking lineup on a single stage
Volcanic Fest takes the bold gamble of an entirely French-speaking lineup, bringing together over 30 bands from all over France and Europe on a single stage. The day highlights emerging bands, while the evenings feature confirmed headliners. The musical selection, eclectic and carefully curated, covers a wide spectrum from classic heavy to progressive metal, including pagan folk, alternative rock, and more experimental sounds. Among the headliners of the first edition: Klone, Black Bomb A, Eihwar, Magoyond, Naheulband, Silver Dust, and Emerald Moon.
A small-scale musical and human village
With a deliberately limited capacity of between 750 and 1,200 people, Volcanic Fest fosters proximity between artists and the audience. The site hosts an artisan village from the metal and alternative universe, featuring about forty exhibitors: tattoo artists, piercers, creators, and other partner festivals. Food and drink, prepared on-site using local and regional products, prioritize short supply chains. Game stands, friendly challenges between festival-goers, and shaded relaxation areas complete the offering to create a friendly and warm atmosphere.
Solidarity and cultural commitment
Volcanic Fest upholds strong values of solidarity and sharing. Sunday is dedicated to local associations, notably Une Rose Un Espoir and the Ligue contre le Cancer, which support children facing illness or disability. Conferences hosted by the Fédération des Musiques Métalliques enrich the program by exploring metal culture, its values, and its players in France. The festival is part of a cultural and territorial dynamic driven by Teamduc's Production, with a commitment to innovation, responsibility, and the promotion of local initiatives.
