Un Week-end à la Rue
For several years, six communes south of Rennes Métropole — Bourgbarré, Chantepie, Corps-Nuds, Nouvoitou, Saint-Armel, and Vern-sur-Seiche — have joined forces around a single event: Un Week-end à la Rue, an entirely free intercommunal festival dedicated to street arts and live performance. Street theatre, circus, and dance companies, musical groups, and comedy acts take over the public spaces of the various communes for open-air performances.
A festival designed for everyone
The event aims to be inclusive and was created to promote access to culture for all audiences. The organizing communes work particularly with associative partners to make the program accessible to people with disabilities. Each edition explores a theme: for the 2026 edition, the festival highlights insects and small creatures, essential for biodiversity.
