Street Arts Festival in Questembert
Since 2020, the Inopiné Festival transforms the small town of character of Questembert into a vast open-air theater every end of summer. Organized by the City of Questembert, this free festival dedicated to street arts offers two days of shows, installations, and parades that surprise and enchant spectators around a corner, a square, or a garden.
The programming of the Inopiné Festival explores the richness of street arts: contemporary dance, street theater, circus, puppetry, music, visual arts, and performances coexist in an eclectic and surprising program. Each edition hosts about fifteen companies that take over the public spaces of Questembert for indoor and outdoor performances.
Each edition of the Inopiné Festival revolves around a theme that guides the programming and invites the public on an imaginary journey. The 2025 edition (6th edition) offered a journey into the stars, taking spectators on a poetic exploration of the cosmos through dreamlike shows and light installations. The festival mixes recent creations and repertoire pieces, offering a vibrant panorama of contemporary street arts.
The town of Questembert, labeled "Petite Cité de Caractère" (Small Town of Character), offers a remarkable architectural setting for street arts. This free access allows all audiences, families, children, the curious, and enthusiasts, to discover street arts without barriers. The festival also offers opportunities to meet artists, popular dances, and screenings, creating a friendly and warm atmosphere that is the signature of the event.
