Founded in 2005 by British DJ and presenter Gilles Peterson, this festival will celebrate its 20th edition in 2026 and has established itself as a benchmark for electronic, soul, jazz, and world music.
Presentation
For one week in early July, the Worldwide Festival offers the best music from around the world. Evening concerts are held in the iconic Théâtre de la Mer, an open-air amphitheater overlooking the Mediterranean, while afternoons take place by the water at La Ola Beach Club, on Lido beach.

Located in the heart of Sète, Worldwide Festival Sète takes advantage of the exceptional setting of the town and its heritage. The event fully contributes to the tourist attractiveness of the Hérault department and promotes the cultural, natural, and human riches of the Occitanie region. Worldwide Festival Sète — 2026 Edition (20th Anniversary)
The 20th edition of the Worldwide Festival Sète will take place from June 28th to July 5th, 2026 in Sète, Hérault. For this anniversary, the festival founded by Gilles Peterson offers a week of concerts at the Théâtre de la Mer, the open-air amphitheater facing the Mediterranean, and musical afternoons by the water at the La Ola Beach Club, on Lido beach.
Weekly passes were sold out as early as February 2026. Evening tickets remained available, and several events (opening night, beach afternoons, Sunday program at La Ola) are free to access.
