Yzeures'n'Rock was born in 2007 in Yzeures-sur-Creuse, a small town in the south of Indre-et-Loire, on the borders of Touraine, Berry, and Poitou. This open-air festival has grown year after year to become one of the major musical events in the department, offering three days of concerts in a rural and bucolic setting that appeals to an ever-widening audience.
The strength of Yzeures'n'Rock lies in its eclectic and generous programming, which mixes rock, reggae, hip-hop, French chanson, dub, and world music. The festival has attracted top-tier artists: the 2025 edition hosted Dub Inc, MC Solaar, Fonky Family, Ultra Vomit, Charlie Winston, Nova Twins, La Rue Ketanou & Les Ogres de Barback, L'Entourloop, Tiakola, Hoshi, Biga*Ranx, Zoufris Maracas, Ryon, Adé, and many others. This musical diversity allows the festival to reach a broad audience, from rock enthusiasts to reggae fans and hip-hop lovers.
The festival unfolds on a vast open-air site in Yzeures-sur-Creuse, offering a green and relaxed setting conducive to summer festivities. The atmosphere is resolutely friendly and family-oriented, with shaded areas, relaxation zones, and varied catering. On-site camping allows festival-goers to fully enjoy the three days of the festival. The small town of Yzeures-sur-Creuse transforms each summer into a festive village where locals and visitors mingle joyfully.
Yzeures'n'Rock is driven by a team of committed volunteers, supported by local authorities and festival partners. This associative foundation translates into a spirit of sharing and conviviality that makes the event unique. Despite its modest size compared to major national festivals, Yzeures'n'Rock offers a quality of programming and hospitality that is second to none.
Since its creation in 2007, the festival has continued to grow. With accessible passes (€38 for one day, €94 for three days in 2025), Yzeures'n'Rock remains true to its mission of cultural democratization, offering quality programming at affordable prices in a rural area often far from major cultural offerings.
