Winter Groove — edition 2026
16th Edition: Six Evenings to Warm Up the Winter
Abbeville Winter Groove returns for its 16th edition from February 5 to 12, 2026, at the Théâtre Municipal. Six exceptional concerts make up a musical week that is as eclectic as it is delightful.
The festival opens on Thursday, February 5, with Vincent Delerm, a singer-songwriter whose polished songs and stage presence make him one of the most endearing artists on the French scene. On Friday the 6th, the legendary Bonga, an icon of Angolan music, brings his semba and kizomba rhythms in a concert vibrant with warmth and joy. On Saturday the 7th, Louis Chedid presents his album Rêveur in an already sold-out evening—proof of the public's enthusiasm for the festival.
After a Sunday break, on Tuesday, February 10, Nina Attal and her project Electric Lady Land offer a tribute to the feminine side of Jimi Hendrix, blending incandescent guitar and overflowing stage energy. On Wednesday the 11th, La Caravane Passe, celebrating its 20th anniversary tour, deploys its explosive cocktail of Balkan music, gypsy swing, and festive fanfare. The festival concludes on Thursday the 12th with Oxmo Puccino, a major figure in French rap, a poet of the street whose sharp lyrics and deep voice transcend genres.

A festival born to warm up the Picardy winter
Launched in 2011 by Les Scènes d'Abbeville, a cultural structure of the Baie de Somme Community of Agglomeration, Abbeville Winter Groove was born from a simple but ambitious desire: to offer the inhabitants of the Somme region a quality musical event in the heart of winter. Where other territories wait for spring to launch their festival season, Abbeville takes the bold gamble of February and transforms its magnificent Théâtre Municipal into a temple of live music.
The Théâtre Municipal: an Italian-style hall for memorable concerts
The Théâtre Municipal d'Abbeville, an Italian-style hall with 500 seats inaugurated in the 19th century, offers an exceptional setting for Winter Groove concerts. The intimacy of the hall, the quality of its acoustics, and the proximity to the artists create a unique atmosphere, halfway between a private concert and a large-scale show. Each evening, the intermission bar, run by a different local association, extends the festival's conviviality and festive spirit.
A groovy and eclectic program
True to its name, Winter Groove cultivates groove in all its forms. The program uninhibitedly blends French chanson by singer-songwriters, world music, rock, rap, soul, funk, and mixed-genre music. Over the years, the festival has hosted artists as varied as Vincent Delerm, Louis Chedid, Oxmo Puccino, Bonga, Neg'Marrons, Nina Attal, La Caravane Passe, Ayo, Gaël Faye, Debout sur le Zinc, and Deluxe.
Each edition crafts a musical journey that brings together confirmed headliners and rising artists, guaranteeing discoveries and moments of emotion every evening.
A major cultural event for maritime Picardy
In its fifteen years of existence, Abbeville Winter Groove has established itself as one of the highlights of the cultural season in maritime Picardy. The festival attracts a loyal and diverse audience from Abbeville, the Baie de Somme, Amiens, and the entire Hauts-de-France region. It contributes to the city's winter dynamism and the cultural influence of the territory, proving that a quality festival can thrive far from major cities and outside the summer season.
