The only street magic festival in France
Born in 2025 from the imagination of Erick Lantin, a native of Vianne and an internationally renowned magician, AbracadaVianne is the first and only street magic festival in France. For a weekend in June, the medieval village of Vianne transforms into a true magical village, where prestidigitators, illusionists, and mentalists take over every corner of the fortified city to offer breathtaking shows to audiences of all ages.
Originally from Nérac, Erick Lantin had dreamed since the age of 10, after attending a street magic festival in Spain, of transforming his native village of Vianne into a place filled with magicians. This dream came true in 2025 when Erick and his wife Valérie Beaulieu, the festival's artistic director and a prize-winning magician herself, presented their project to Laurence Benlloch, the mayor of Vianne. Together, with the support of the association Magic Albret Event Show and Thierry Darrigade, they brought this unique festival to life.
AbracadaVianne brings together world-renowned artists around Erick Lantin and Valérie Beaulieu, both recipients of the prestigious Mandrake d'Or, the highest honor in the world of magic. The program combines different disciplines:
Among the artists programmed in the early editions: Cici Civiac, Jérémy Canto, Serge Arial, Michel Yurgen and Florette Atchoum, Maverick Alain Rieppi, Fabrice Limousin, as well as international artists from Germany and Spain.
AbracadaVianne is more than just a festival: it's a community project that unites the entire village. 11 out of the 13 local associations in Vianne participate in the organization, involving residents and young people from the village. On Sundays, the village is closed to traffic and transforms into a huge open-air theater, with themed shops, magical decorations, and surprising performances around every corner.
Founded in 1284, the medieval village of Vianne offers a perfectly preserved medieval setting to host this magic festival. Its ramparts, narrow streets, and shaded squares become natural stages where magic comes to life. The Place des Marronniers, the heart of the village, becomes the epicenter of this magical event that attracts a family audience from all over Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
Second edition of AbracadaVianne, the only street magic festival in France, on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7, 2026, in the medieval bastide of Vianne in Lot-et-Garonne. Under the artistic direction of Erick Lantin and Valérie Beaulieu, winners of the Mandrake d'Or, the program brings together internationally renowned magicians for a grand indoor magic gala on Saturday evening and a day of shows, entertainment, and magical strolls throughout the bastide on Sunday.
After the success of the inaugural 2025 edition, AbracadaVianne returns on June 6 and 7, 2026, to confirm its ambition: to become one of the major cultural events in Lot-et-Garonne and the French reference for street magic festivals. Erick Lantin and Valérie Beaulieu, artistic directors and Mandrake d'Or award-winning magicians, have put together a program that blends international big names and itinerant magic in the heart of the bastide.
On Saturday, June 6, the Salle Jourdain de l'Isle will host the grand magic show of the 2026 edition at 8:30 PM, featuring Erick Lantin & Valérie, Patrice Curt, Brando & Silvana, and Dani Garcia. Seating is limited — reservations are highly recommended. The evening begins at 5:30 PM on Place des Marronniers with the official opening ceremony (free access), followed at 7:00 PM by the opening of food trucks and refreshment stands.
On Sunday, June 7, the medieval bastide will be closed to traffic and transformed into a huge magical playground. From 10:30 AM to 6:30 PM, shows, strolls, close-up magic, illusions, and entertainment will take place continuously on several stages and in the narrow streets. The day concludes at 6:30 PM with a closing ceremony bringing together all the artists. Themed shops, enchanting decorations, introductory workshops for children, and a school of dreams and illusion complete the program.
AbracadaVianne remains a community project: 11 of Vianne's 13 associations participate in the organization alongside the Magic Albret Event Show association and Thierry Darrigade, with the support of the Vianne town hall (Laurence Benlloch) and the community of communes. The festival is accessible to people with reduced mobility; animals are not allowed.
Detailed program of Sunday's artists will be progressively communicated by the organizers. Follow updates on the official website magie-en-albret.com.
