Collective exhibition of artists from Le Passage at the Ferme d'Estrades
Le Passage a d'Incroyables Talents is an annual collective exhibition organized by the City of Le Passage d'Agen since 2015 at the Ferme d'Estrades. For about ten days at the end of November, about fifteen artists from Le Passage exhibit their works: painting, watercolor, sculpture, photography, jewelry, furniture, and models. Each edition features a guest artist in residence who works in the town's schools before presenting their creations. Admission is free and mornings are reserved for schoolchildren.
Since 2015, the municipality of Le Passage d'Agen has aimed to promote local artists by providing them with the Ferme d'Estrades, an exhibition space located on Rue Albert Schweitzer, overlooking the Pierre Saint-Germes sports complex. Every year, at the end of November and beginning of December, about fifteen artists and artisans from Le Passage take over this heritage site to present their creations to the public in a friendly and accessible atmosphere.
The exhibition is open to all forms of artistic and artisanal expression. Visitors can discover a wide variety of works:
This diversity reflects the richness of the local artistic scene and allows every visitor to find a discipline that resonates with them.
Each edition features a guest artist who benefits from an artistic residency at the Ferme d'Estrades and its sheepfold. Before the exhibition opens to the public, this artist works with classes in the town's nursery and elementary schools to explain their artistic approach and offer creative workshops for children. The works created by the students are then integrated into a collective piece presented during the exhibition.
Among the guest artists who have participated over the years are Jean-Yves Urruty, a 69-year-old sculptor passionate about ceramics trained in Paris, who worked at the Biot pottery and designed sets for the Amiens museum, Euro Disney, and Parc Astérix (2023 edition), Brigitte Fouquey Gouzon, guest of honor painter (2024 edition), and Germano Frias, an artist well-known to the people of Le Passage, notably the creator of the sculpture installed on the roundabout of the cultural center (2025-2026 edition).
One of the event's highlights is its educational component. The exhibition mornings are exclusively reserved for school groups who meet the guest artist, discover their works, and interact with the exhibitors. This cultural mediation approach aims to introduce younger generations to art and creation in all its forms.
True to its mission of cultural democratization, Le Passage a d'Incroyables Talents is a completely free event. The exhibition is open to the public every afternoon from 2 PM to 6 PM for the entire duration of the event. This accessible format makes it a must-attend event in the cultural life of Le Passage and the Lot-et-Garonne region.
The next edition of Le Passage a d'Incroyables Talents will be held at the end of November - beginning of December 2026 at the Ferme d'Estrades. The festival will again feature a collective exhibition of about fifteen artists from Le Passage in various disciplines (painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry, art crafts), with a guest artist in residence and a cultural mediation program in the town's schools.
