Music on a Short Circuit

Amours d'Été is an open-air summer concert festival that showcases the emerging music scene of the Grand Est region. Co-produced by L'Autre Canal, Nancy's contemporary music venue, and the Facteur Musique collective, which unites local contemporary music associations, this artistic and territorial project offers an original approach to music dissemination.

Hyper-Local Concerts

The concept of Amours d'Été is based on the idea of a cultural short circuit: artists from the Grand Est perform in hyper-proximity in outdoor public spaces across the metropolitan and departmental areas. Neighborhood squares, parks, riverbanks, and esplanades become ephemeral concert venues, bringing music closer to the daily lives of residents.

A 100% Local Program

The program features a wide variety of local artistic projects: pop, rock, electro, chanson, hip-hop, experimental music, and world sounds. The 2025 edition presented 42 artistic projects across 8 venues on 18 dates between July and August, offering a rich and eclectic panorama of regional musical creation.

Artists to Discover

Amours d'Été has hosted artists such as Blondbélier, Joy Disaster, Fonkiture, Mau, April's Fish, Cunted Kunts, and Sonic Curves, reflecting the vibrancy and diversity of the Grand Est music scene.

L'Autre Canal, a Driving Force for the Local Scene

L'Autre Canal, a contemporary music venue (SMAC) recognized by the Ministry of Culture, is a major player in Nancy's music scene. By co-producing Amours d'Été with Facteur Musique, it reaffirms its commitment to artistic discovery, support for emerging artists, and cultural outreach throughout the territory.

A Growing Festival

Launched in 2023, Amours d'Été quickly found its audience thanks to its simple and effective formula: free, open-air concerts in everyday public spaces. Each edition enriches the project with new collaborations, new venues, and new sounds, confirming the relevance of this cultural proximity approach.
