About Art et Loire Festival

Every year in Gennes-Val-de-Loire, the Art et Loire festival brings together professional theatre performances for children, families, and adults, creating a dialogue with the local Anjou region. Winemakers, brewers, and artisans host a market right alongside the stages. Organised by the Collectif Art et Loire since 2023, the festival hosts its shows, workshops, and participatory dance events at the Parc du château de la Roche and the salle des loisirs André Courtiaud.

Art et Loire Festival — edition 2026

For its fourth edition, the Art et Loire festival brings two days of theatre and music to the Parc du château de la Roche. Headlining the event are the play "Suzanne" by Cie Le long baiser des truites and the musical theatre performance by Les Passeurs. A local Anjou craft market will be held all day Sunday, featuring workshops, children's storytelling, and a tribute concert to Georges Brassens.
