The eco-responsible festival in the heart of Cézallier
Auver'Green is an eco-responsible festival organized by the Agglo Pays d'Issoire in Cézallier, in the commune of Anzat-le-Luguet in Puy-de-Dôme. Created in 2021, this festival aims to promote actors of the ecological transition, initiatives and environmentally friendly alternatives through a program combining conferences, inspiring meetings, discovery and creation workshops, sports activities, a children's village with educational games, a market of local producers and artisans, as well as an artistic program including concerts, shows and screenings. The spirit of the festival is based on eco-citizenship, support for behavioral change and conviviality, in the exceptional natural setting of the Cézallier high plateaus.
The Auver'Green festival was born in 2021 from the desire of the Agglo Pays d'Issoire to create a unifying event around environmental issues in the Cézallier region. This eco-responsible festival positions itself as a meeting place for citizens, actors of the ecological transition, artists and local producers, with the ambition to support behavioral change and promote eco-citizenship through various activities of discovery, reflection and creation.
The festival program covers a wide range of activities. Conferences and meetings with specialists and inspiring project leaders provide information and discussion on major environmental issues. Discovery and creation workshops offer a practical approach to everyday ecology. Outdoor sports activities, such as hiking in Cézallier, allow participants to discover the exceptional natural heritage of the region.
The artistic program is a pillar of the festival, with concerts by various artists (contemporary music, world music, committed song), street and outdoor shows, and screenings of documentary films on environmental themes. Artistic exhibitions related to nature and the environment complete the cultural program. The first edition notably hosted the group Tryo and Wazoo.
A children's village offers educational games, creative workshops and shows for the youngest. The market of local producers and artisans showcases the know-how and products of the Cézallier and Pays d'Issoire region. A pop-up library and a mobile media library complete the offer, as well as catering and relaxation areas.
The 2026 edition of the Auver'Green festival is expected at the end of June in Cézallier, continuing from previous editions.
