Aux Vignobles !: Nantes' Wine and Gastronomy Fair

Since 1999, the Aux Vignobles ! fair — formerly the Salon des Vins et de la Gastronomie — has become one of Nantes' flagship autumn events. Organized by GL events Exhibitions, it is part of a national network of fairs held in about twenty French cities, from Brest to Biarritz, including Chartres and Angers.

A Tour of French Terroirs

Each edition brings together around 180 artisans and producers selected from all regions of France. Independent winegrowers, trading houses, farm cheesemakers, artisanal charcutiers, chocolatiers, confectioners, foie gras producers, oyster farmers, honey producers, and craft brewers: the fair offers a comprehensive panorama of French gastronomy. Visitors can taste, compare, and buy directly from producers in a friendly and warm atmosphere.

The Beer Village

For several editions now, Aux Vignobles ! has expanded its offering with a Beer Village dedicated to craft breweries. This space highlights the revival of French brewing, with local and regional brewers offering tastings of distinctive beers, from IPAs to stouts, including Belgian-style ales and sours.

Workshops and Activities

Beyond free tastings, the fair offers a rich program of wine workshops led by professional sommeliers and cooking workshops led by local chefs. These special sessions allow visitors to refine their palate, learn about food and wine pairings, and discover the secrets behind the production of regional products.

An Accessible and Friendly Fair

Aux Vignobles ! stands out for its commitment to making the discovery of wine and gastronomy accessible to everyone. Entrance fees are intentionally moderate, and the atmosphere is relaxed, far from the intimidation sometimes associated with the world of wine. Exhibitors take the time to explain their vintages, their production methods, and the history of their estate or workshop.

Parc des Expositions de la Beaujoire

The fair is held annually at the Parc des Expositions de la Beaujoire, in the northeast of Nantes. This key venue in Loire-Atlantique offers vast exhibition spaces perfectly suited to hosting a fair of this scale, with easy access via tram (line 1, Beaujoire terminus), buses (lines C6 and 75), and the eastern ring road (Porte de la Beaujoire exit).
