The wine celebration in the heart of the Roussillon vineyards
Baixas, a small wine village in the Pyrénées-Orientales, hosts an annual wine fair that promotes the local wine heritage. In the heart of the Aspres terroir, winemakers present their best vintages, from powerful red wines to golden muscats, as well as fruity Roussillon rosés.
The Dom Brial cooperative winery, founded in 1923 by 123 winemakers, now manages over 2,500 hectares of vines, including the largest vineyard of Muscat de Rivesaltes in Roussillon. It is around this wine institution that the wine fair is organized, allowing visitors to discover the richness and diversity of local wines.
The fair offers tastings of local wines, meetings with winemakers, musical entertainment, and a gastronomic offering highlighting local products: Catalan charcuterie, cheeses, olives, and Roussillon specialties. The event attracts a knowledgeable and curious audience, eager to discover or rediscover the wine treasures of this Catalan terroir.
The Baixas Wine Fair 2026 will welcome wine lovers for a new convivial edition. On the program: tastings of local winemakers' vintages, discovery of the Aspres terroir, and festive entertainment.
