The craft beer festival of Berry

The Berry Bière Festival was born in 2023 from the passion of the Bières du Berry association, which brings together craft brewers from the departments of Cher and Indre. This traveling exhibition aims to promote the richness and diversity of Berry's brewing production, while also showcasing breweries from other regions of France.

Around twenty craft breweries

Each edition of the festival brings together more than 20 craft breweries presenting a wide range of styles: blondes, ambers, browns, IPAs, stouts, sours, seasonal beers, and original creations. Visitors can taste and buy directly from the brewers, discover their production methods, and discuss their common passion. A non-alcoholic beverage bar is also available for non-drinkers and designated drivers.

Workshops, conferences, and beer discoveries

The Berry Bière Festival goes beyond simple tasting. Beer discovery workshops allow visitors to learn about brewing, understand the beer production steps, and learn to recognize different styles and flavors. Conferences led by industry professionals cover various topics: the history of beer, brewing techniques, food and beer pairings, and the development of the brewing sector in Berry.

Live concerts and food trucks

A festive atmosphere is ensured by a program of live concerts accompanying the tastings from Saturday afternoon into the evening. Food trucks are present on site to offer varied and quality catering, allowing visitors to eat throughout the event. The friendly and relaxed atmosphere makes the Berry Bière Festival a moment of sharing and celebration appreciated by all.

A traveling festival in Berry

The Berry Bière Festival is a traveling event that changes location from one edition to another, taking over the village halls and exhibition parks of the Berry region. After Vignoux-sur-Barangeon for the first editions and Vierzon in 2025, the festival continues its tour of Berry to introduce craft beer to as many people as possible. An entry fee of 5 euros includes a complimentary tasting glass.
