Rock, folk and blues festival at the port of Binic-Étables-sur-Mer
The Binic Folks Blues Festival was born in 2008 on the initiative of the association La Nef des Fous, founded by members of the band TXOTX and their friends. What was originally a small musical gathering on the port of Binic has become, in a few years, a national festival, attracting thousands of festival-goers every last weekend of July. The festival takes place outdoors on the port of Binic, in the heart of the town of Binic-Étables-sur-Mer, offering an exceptional maritime setting.
The Binic Folks Blues program is resolutely eclectic and bold. Two stages host about twenty international bands over three days, with a selection that favors raw rock, punk energy, folk, and blues, while also opening up to more experimental sounds. The festival has forged a strong musical identity, recognized by fans of independent contemporary music in France and abroad.
One of the hallmarks of Binic Folks Blues is its free admission, a choice championed by the organizers to ensure access to culture for all. The festival is also committed to an eco-responsible and supportive approach, with catering prioritizing short supply chains and local products. The relaxed and festive atmosphere, between the fishing port and the beaches, makes Binic Folks Blues a unique experience in the Breton festival scene.
The Binic Folks Blues Festival returns for its 2026 edition from July 24 to 26 at the port of Binic. Three days of free concerts with an international program of rock, folk, blues, and punk on two stages.
The festival takes place at the Port of Binic, 22520 Binic-Étables-sur-Mer.
