Black Mount Festival: Music at the Summit of the Jura

The Black Mount Festival is a young open-air music festival that was launched in 2022 at the Domaine du Bugnon, in the town of Lac-des-Rouges-Truites, in the Haut-Jura. Nestled at over 900 meters above sea level in a preserved natural setting, it offers an exceptional setting for two days of summer concerts.

A Family-Friendly and Committed Festival

The Black Mount Festival aims to be a family-friendly, convivial, and accessible event. It emphasizes community engagement and local partnerships, promoting producers and artisans from the Jura region. The festival notably features an official local craft beer and a creators' village.

An Eclectic Program

The Black Mount Festival's programming boldly mixes musical genres: reggae, rock, electro, world music, hip-hop, and folk. The first edition in 2022 hosted artists such as Broussaï, KT Gorique, Hilight Tribe, Tetra Hydro K, and Madam, offering a rich and varied musical panorama in the heart of the Jura mountains.

An Exceptional Natural Setting

The Domaine du Bugnon, located at Les Thévenins in Lac-des-Rouges-Truites, offers a striking panorama of the forests and pastures of the Haut-Jura. This open-air site, surrounded by fir and spruce trees, gives the festival a unique atmosphere, between mountains and music, far from the hustle and bustle of big cities.

A Future Under Construction

Despite the cancellation of its second edition initially planned for 2024, the Black Mount Festival continues its development with a third edition announced. The festival continues to unite a community of enthusiasts around music and the nature of the Jura.
