Blois Arts and Crafts Fair: excellence in craftsmanship since 1987

The Blois Arts and Crafts Fair is one of the oldest and most popular fine crafts fairs in Loir-et-Cher. Since its creation in 1987, it has brought together around forty fine craftspeople every December at the Halle aux Grains, in the heart of Blois, for a weekend dedicated to exceptional artisanal creation.

A showcase of excellent know-how

The fair brings together craftspeople representing a wide diversity of fine crafts:

• Ceramics and pottery: stoneware, porcelain, earthenware, raku
• Jewelry and adornments: creations in precious metals, stones, and contemporary materials
• Cabinetmaking and woodworking: furniture, decorative objects, wood sculpture
• Glassmaking: blowing, stained glass, fusing
• Leatherworking: bags, accessories, bookbinding
• Textile design: weaving, embroidery, felt, screen printing
• And many others: cutlery, ironwork, basketry, illumination, mosaic...

Unique and original creations

Each craftsperson presents unique pieces or limited editions, the result of transmitted and reinvented know-how. The fair is an opportunity to meet the creators, understand their techniques, and discover objects not found in stores, perfect for original and sustainable Christmas gifts.

An event driven by the artisans

The Arts and Crafts Fair is organized by the Association d'Artisanat d'Art de Loir-et-Cher (AAALC), which brings together the fine craftspeople of the department. The association ensures the quality of the exhibitors, selected based on their applications, and guarantees a fair exclusively dedicated to artisanal creation, excluding resale and industrial production.

An exceptional setting at the Halle aux Grains

Located in the prestigious setting of the Halle aux Grains, Place Jean Jaurès in Blois, the fair benefits from a central, accessible, and warm venue. The exhibition space allows each craftsperson to showcase their creative universe, in a friendly atmosphere conducive to exchange and discovery. The fair is part of the Lyres d'hiver program of the City of Blois, contributing to the cultural animation of the city center during the holiday season.
