Romorantin-Lanthenay, the capital of Sologne, transforms into a Christmas town every year throughout December thanks to the "Noel en Ville" program. From December 1st to 24th, the town offers a series of festivities that illuminate the historic center and bring residents together in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Christmas Markets under the Halle

Several Christmas markets are held under the Halle de Romorantin, an emblematic town center location:

• Christmas Market under the Halle: local artisans and producers offer their creations, gift ideas, and gourmet products
• APEL Notre-Dame Christmas Market: local creators and producers on the parvis of the Saint-Étienne church, with mulled wine, crepes, and gingerbread
• Les P'tits Points Christmas Market: crafts and creations in the Colvert room of the Administrative Center

Illuminations and Light Parade

The launch of the Christmas illuminations marks the start of the festivities. The meeting point is in front of the Halle at 6:00 PM for the distribution of lanterns to children, followed by a light parade through the town center streets. The dream walkers offer a magical spectacle that delights young and old alike.

The Gourmet Chalet and Entertainment

A Gourmet Chalet is set up on the Place de la Paix, offering mulled wine, hot chocolate, and seasonal specialties. Throughout December, numerous events punctuate the weekends:
