Boogie-Swing 137 is a jazz festival that launched in 2016 in Tinténiac and Combourg, two towns in Ille-et-Vilaine. Created by the eponymous association, the festival was designed to promote different styles of jazz: blues, boogie-woogie, and swing through concerts, jam sessions, workshops, conferences, and exhibitions.
The project was initiated by musician Gilles Blandin, a jazz and piano enthusiast, who became one of the ambassadors of swing jazz and blues in Brittany. His infectious energy and love for boogie-woogie gave birth to this friendly and warm festival.
In 2019, the Boogie-Swing 137 association became Jazz'N Boogie, continuing and expanding its mission to promote jazz, blues, and swing. The festival continues to offer themed evenings such as the "Swing Boogie Night" and the "New Orleans Night".
The festival brings together professional and amateur musicians around a common passion for jazz and swing dancing. The festive atmosphere and dance initiations make each edition a moment of sharing and conviviality.
