About Buenos Aires en Perche
Every year, Buenos Aires en Perche brings Argentine tango dancers together at the Espace Octave Mirbeau in Rémalard en Perche, in the Orne department. Established in 2019 by the Scène d'Influence association, the festival hosts Argentine maestros and musicians for a weekend of workshops, classes, concerts, and milonga dance parties.
Buenos Aires en Perche — edition 2026
For its 7th edition, Buenos Aires en Perche is coming to the Espace Octave Mirbeau on September 19th and 20th, 2026. The program features workshops with Gabrielle Allemand and Lucia Milagros Bréa, tango nuevo classes with Isabelle Toulouse, and the preview screening of the Argentine film "Tango Sin Miedo" by Luz Balaña. On Saturday night, the ballroom opens for a milonga featuring the live Pablo Gignoli trio.

Saturday, September 19th, 2026
- 11:00 AM — Participant welcome · Entrance hall
- 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM — Tango, vals, and milonga workshop with Gabrielle Allemand and Lucia Milagros Bréa (fee required)
- 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM — Tango nuevo class with Isabelle Toulouse (fee required)
- 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM — Official opening ceremony
- 7:00 PM — Preview screening of the Argentine film "Tango Sin Miedo" by Luz Balaña (10 €)
- 8:15 PM — Ballroom doors open
- 8:30 PM — Milonga dance with DJ Lucia Milagros Bréa and the live Pablo Gignoli trio, potluck dinner (20 €)
Sunday, September 20th, 2026
- From 11:00 AM — Private lessons by appointment
- 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM — Tango nuevo class with Isabelle Toulouse (fee required)
- 3:45 PM - 6:00 PM — Milonga despedida, featuring tango nuevo and traditional music with DJ Isabelle Toulouse, potluck dinner (10 €)

Practical information — Buenos Aires en Perche
The festival takes place at the Espace Octave Mirbeau, located at the place du Champ de Foire in Rémalard en Perche. Rémalard is about a two-hour drive from Paris via the A12/N12 or N118/A11 routes. If traveling by train, the nearest stations are La Loupe, Bretoncelles, Condé-sur-Huisne, and Nogent-le-Rotrou.
