BD Festival in Chartreuse, between comic strips and mountains
Bulles et Flocons is a comic strip festival held annually in winter in Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse, in the heart of the Chartreuse Regional Natural Park in Isère. Organized by the association Pic Livre, this festival offers a day of meetings between comic strip authors and readers, with book signings, debates, scriptwriting and drawing workshops, as well as thematic exhibitions. Created in 2023, Bulles et Flocons offers a unique event combining the passion for comic strips and the charm of a snow-covered mountain village, attracting a family and curious audience.

Each edition of Bulles et Flocons invites a selection of talented authors and illustrators. The 2026 edition will notably feature Mathilde Ramadier, Marion Achard, Plüme et Olivier, David Chambre, Nicolas Rouvière, and Camille Pouzol. This diversity of guests covers a wide spectrum of contemporary comic strips, from graphic novels to children's comics.
Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse is a mountain village nestled at an altitude of 900 meters in the Chartreuse massif, 25 km from Grenoble. Renowned for its family-friendly ski area and hiking trails, the village also hosts the Raidlight Trail Festival in the spring. Bulles et Flocons is part of this cultural and festive dynamic, offering an original winter event that contributes to the village's animation during the ski season.

For this fourth edition, the association Pic Livre invites several talented authors:
The program includes two BD workshops: a scriptwriting workshop led by Marion Achard (ages 12 and up) and a drawing workshop for children (ages 5 and up). The exhibitions will open at the Salle des Arts starting Saturday, February 14, at 10:00 AM.
The Bulles et Flocons festival takes place in the Salle des Arts and other venues in Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse, a village in the Chartreuse massif in Isère.
Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse is accessible from Grenoble (25 km, approx. 35 minutes) via the D512 towards Col de Porte. From Chambéry (35 km) via the D912 through the Col du Granier. Free parking is available in the village.
Bus connections are available from Grenoble via the TransIsère line. Carpooling is encouraged.
The festival runs during the day, generally from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Admission to the Bulles et Flocons festival is free.
Exhibitions related to the festival can be viewed at the Salle des Arts starting the week before the festival, with an opening reception on Saturday morning.
