ℹ️ Event discontinued. Chambley Festivol was the musical component of the major Enenvol hot air balloon gathering, organized at the Chambley Planet'Air aeronautical base in Hagéville (Meurthe-et-Moselle). Created in 2025, this open-air concert festival only had one edition: the 2026 edition was cancelled and the organizer decided not to renew the event, deeming it economically unviable.
ℹ️ Festival discontinued after a single edition (2025). Chambley Festivol was the musical component of the international Enenvol hot air balloon gathering, organized in 2025 at the Chambley Planet'Air aeronautical base in Hagéville, Meurthe-et-Moselle. The event only had one edition before being abandoned by its organizer.
Enenvol (which succeeded the Grand Est Mondial Air Ballons) aimed to enrich its ten days of aerostatic festivities with a public music program on the immense airfield runway, against the backdrop of hundreds of colorful hot air balloons and the nocturnal spectacle of the Night Glow.
For this single edition (July 25 – August 3, 2025), three evenings were announced. Only the GIMS concert, on July 26, 2025, ultimately took place. The two other planned evenings — Patrick Fiori and the "80s Night" — were cancelled due to insufficient bookings.
Despite approximately 250,000 visitors, the inaugural edition resulted in a heavy deficit (estimated at nearly one million euros) and was affected by a legal dispute with Philippe Buron-Pilâtre, historical founder of the Mondial Air Ballons. The organizer (ABC company, Stéphane Bourguignon) announced the discontinuation of the event: the 2026 edition, at one point envisioned from July 24 to August 2, was cancelled and no new edition is planned.
ℹ️ 2026 edition cancelled — event discontinued. The Enenvol hot-air balloon gathering, of which Chambley Festivol was the musical component, has been definitively cancelled for 2026. An edition was initially planned from July 24 to August 2, 2026, but the organiser (ABC company, directed by Stéphane Bourguignon) decided not to renew the event after a single edition in 2025, for economic reasons. No new edition has been announced to date.
ℹ️ 2026 edition cancelled. After a first and only edition in 2025, the Enenvol gathering and its musical component Chambley Festivol will not return in 2026. The organiser announced the discontinuation of the event, deemed economically unviable: an estimated deficit of nearly one million euros, attendance below expectations (approximately 250,000 visitors instead of the 300,000 hoped for) and a boycott by some balloonists amidst a legal conflict with Philippe Buron-Pilâtre, historical founder of the Mondial Air Ballons.
During the sole 2025 edition (July 25 – August 3), only the GIMS concert (July 26) was maintained; the two other planned evenings, Patrick Fiori and the "80s Night", had been cancelled due to insufficient bookings.
ℹ️ Event discontinued — no future editions. Chambley Festivol and the Enenvol gathering are no longer organized since the cancellation of the 2026 edition. The information below concerns the single edition held in 2025, for archival purposes.
Location: Chambley Planet'Air aeronautical base, Hagéville (54470), approximately 40 km north of Nancy and 35 km west of Metz.
