Chambord Live: Where Pop Meets the Renaissance
Chambord Live is the contemporary music festival held at the Domaine national de Chambord, in Loir-et-Cher. Created in 2022, it offers exceptional concerts of pop, rock, electro, and hip-hop every summer in the grounds of the Château de Chambord, a jewel of the Renaissance and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
An International Festival
Since its first edition, Chambord Live has hosted world-renowned artists. In 2025, the Black Eyed Peas electrified the estate in front of thousands of spectators. For 2026, the festival is expanding to a three-day format with a spectacular lineup: Orelsan, the first urban artist to perform at the château, Maroon 5 for their only French date, and DJ Snake for a memorable electro night.
A Unique Heritage Setting
The Château de Chambord, built starting in 1519 at the request of François I, is the largest of the Loire Valley châteaux. Its Renaissance architecture, its famous double-helix staircase, and its 5,440-hectare estate provide an incomparable backdrop for open-air concerts. The stage is set up facing the château, whose monumental 156-meter facade forms a spectacular backdrop.
30,000 Festival-goers in the Heart of the Estate
Chambord Live welcomes up to 30,000 spectators per evening in the château's park. The festival offers a unique immersive experience, blending the power of live concerts with the magic of the location. Festival-goers can also enjoy visiting the château and the estate before and after the concerts, extending the event into a true Loire Valley weekend.
A Tourism Driver for the Region
Chambord Live contributes to the tourism appeal of Loir-et-Cher and the Centre-Val de Loire region. The festival attracts a young and family audience from all over France and abroad, generating significant economic benefits for the area. It is part of the cultural diversification strategy of the Domaine national de Chambord.
