About Château Perché

Born in 2015 from the imagination of a team of enthusiasts, the Château Perché Festival has established itself as one of Europe's most original electronic events. Its concept: to take over a historic castle and create a total experience combining electronic music, performing arts, visual installations, and costumes. Itinerant by nature, the festival has explored castles throughout France — including the Château de Farcheville in Bouville (Essonne) for its 10th anniversary in 2025 — before settling at the Château de Vaux in Fouchères (Aube) for the 2026 edition. Techno, progressive house, psychedelic trance on several stages in the heart of a classified castle, with hundreds of artists and an enchanting atmosphere of costumes and monumental floral art. The French phantasmagorical utopia.

Château Perché: The Electronic Utopia in the Heart of French Castles

Born in 2015 from the imagination of a team of enthusiasts, the Château Perché Festival has established itself as one of Europe's most original electronic events. Its concept? To take over a historic castle and create a total experience combining electronic music, performing arts, visual installations, and costumes. Itinerant by nature, the festival has explored castles throughout France before finding a strong anchor in 2025 in Île-de-France at the Château de Farcheville (Bouville, Essonne).

A Nomadic and Immersive Festival

Each year, Château Perché features several hundred artists on its stages, covering a wide musical spectrum: melodic techno, progressive house, psychedelic trance, ambient, chill-out, and many other sub-genres of electronic music. Artists come from all over the world — France, Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom, South America — for multi-hour sets in carefully designed stage settings.

The 2025 Edition — "Once Upon a Time, the Phantasmagorical Utopia"

From July 24 to 27, 2025, the 10th edition gathered several thousand costumed festival-goers at the Château de Farcheville in Bouville (Essonne). Eight stages resonated day and night in the courtyards, gardens, and forests of the estate. The theme "Once Upon a Time, the Phantasmagorical Utopia" invited each participant to slip into a timeless electronic tale.

The 2026 Edition — "Romantic Holidays"

For 2026, Château Perché innovates with a unique format in two distinct sessions at the Château de Vaux in Fouchères (Aube): Session A "The Muses Have Fun" from June 25 to 29, and Session B "The Naiads Escape" from July 2 to 6. This formula allows for welcoming two distinct audiences (4,000 people per session) into different thematic universes. On the program: 5 music stages, over 500 artists, 44 curators, nearly 300 workshops, monumental floral land art installations, and a 100% costumed atmosphere.

A Space of Freedom and Safety

Château Perché stands out for its strong commitment to a benevolent and safe space. The festival is a pioneer in safer space initiatives: mediation team, risk reduction information point, strict prohibition of non-consensual behavior. A sensitization questionnaire around four principles — Better Human, Consent, Benevolence, Non-judgment — is required upon registration. This philosophy makes it a reference festival for new generations of festival-goers seeking an experience that is both festive and respectful.

Château Perché — edition 2026

Château Perché 2026 « Romantic Holidays » is divided into two sessions at Château de Vaux in Fouchères (Aube): Session A « The Muses Have Fun » from June 25 to 29, and Session B « The Naiads Escape » from July 2 to 6. Five music stages, over 500 artists programmed by 44 curators, nearly 300 workshops, monumental floral land art, and a 100% costumed atmosphere. Capacity limited to 4,000 people per session.

2026 Edition — « Romantic Holidays » in two sessions

Château Perché 2026 innovates with a unique format: two five-day sessions at Château de Vaux in Fouchères (Aube), allowing two distinct audiences (4,000 people per session) to be welcomed into different thematic worlds. The musical program is entrusted to 44 curators — including Chevry, Dure Vie, HORS SOL, Ordinateur, Kepler-129, Metaphore, NEO Collectif, and La Fesste — who compose the line-ups for each stage.

Session A — « The Muses Have Fun » (June 25-29)

The first session invites festival-goers on an aerial and solar odyssey, where Greek muses take over the castle. Each day has a costumed theme: Thursday « The Dance of the Dawn Glows » (transparency, paleness), Friday « The Parade of the Viridian Fairies » (green tones, forest), Saturday « The Weddings of the Golden Harvests » (gold, extravagant headdresses), Sunday « The Banquet of Drunken Souls » (decadence, masks).

Session B — « The Naiads Escape » (July 2-6)

The second session plunges participants into an aquatic and mysterious universe. Costumed themes: Thursday « The Dance of the Flaming Marsh » (mist, flames), Friday « The Parade of the Amethyst Nymphs » (lilac, floral), Saturday « The Weddings of Scales and Foam » (ocean, silver), Sunday « The Banquet of Unveiled Hearts » (veils, abundance).

5 Stages, Over 500 Artists

The five stages — Coquin Bassin, Grenier Grivois, Ruisseau des Dryades, Dôme Quichotte, and Archipel de Loreleï — each host thematic curations. Among the announced artists: Angel D'lite, Polygonia, Leif, livwutang, DJ Plead, E.LINA, Xiaolin (live), STL-P (live), Less-O (live), ANZU (live), Atomic Moog (live), Deborah Aime La Bagarre, Kasper Marott, Zadig, Sandrien, Cindy Pooch (live) and many others.
