Château Perché: electronic utopia in the heart of French castles

Born in 2015 from the imagination of a team of enthusiasts, Château Perché Festival has established itself as one of the most original electronic events in Europe. Its concept? To take over a historic castle and create a total experience blending electronic music, performing arts, visual installations, and costumes. Itinerant by nature, the festival has explored castles throughout France before finding a strong foothold in Île-de-France in 2025.

The Château de Farcheville: a dream setting

For its 10th anniversary in 2025, Château Perché chose the Château de Farcheville, a 13th-century listed medieval jewel located in Bouville, Essonne. This moated castle, surrounded by French gardens and vast meadows, offers an incomparable architectural setting to host the festival's eight stages. Located on the Route de Farcheville, a few kilometers from Étampes, it perfectly embodies the meeting of French heritage and contemporary electronic culture.

An exceptional electronic lineup

Each year, Château Perché features over 400 artists on its stages, covering a wide musical spectrum: melodic techno, progressive house, psychedelic trance, ambient, chill-out, and many other subgenres of electronic music. Artists come from all over the world – France, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, South America – for multi-hour sets in carefully designed settings.

The 2025 edition — “Once Upon a Time, the Phantasmagorical Utopia”

From July 24 to 27, 2025, the 10th edition brought together several thousand costumed festival-goers at the Château de Farcheville. Eight stages resonated day and night in the courtyards, gardens, and forests of the estate. The theme “Once Upon a Time, the Phantasmagorical Utopia” invited each participant to step into a timeless electronic fairy tale. Festival-goers are encouraged to come in costume, reinforcing the unique and immersive atmosphere that characterizes Château Perché.

The 2026 edition — “The Romantic Holidays”

For 2026, Château Perché is innovating with two distinct sessions at the Château de Farcheville: Session A “The Muses at Play” from June 25 to 29, and Session B “The Naiads’ Escape” from July 2 to 6. This new format allows for better crowd distribution and offers differentiated experiences. The program includes: 6 music stages, 400 artists, 3 themed camps with 300 workshops, monumental floral land art installations, and a 100% costumed atmosphere.

Château Perché stands out for its strong commitment to a benevolent and safe space. The festival is a pioneer in safer space: mediation team, risk reduction information point, strict prohibition of non-consensual behavior. This philosophy makes it a reference festival for new generations of festival-goers seeking an experience that is both festive and respectful.
