Cher Cinéma 2026 — 2nd edition
For its 2nd edition, the Cher Cinéma festival takes place from February 17 to 21, 2026 at Théâtre + Cinéma, Scène nationale Grand Narbonne. After the success of the first edition (2025), the festival continues its ambition to celebrate the 7th art by combining film screenings and live shows.
Shows and previews
Three shows pay tribute to cinema: « Cher Cinéma » by Jean-Claude Gallotta (dance), in which the choreographer evokes his encounters with Fellini, Godard and Moretti; « Seule comme Maria », where actress Marilou Aussilloux explores the destiny of Maria Schneider and the place of women in the history of cinema; and « On fera mieux la prochaine fois ». The program also includes previews, national releases, heritage films and meetings with actresses, actors and directors — including a preview of « Elise sous emprise » presented with Marie Rémond.
Evenings at Les Comptoirs
Around the screenings and shows, the « Les Comptoirs » space extends the experience every evening with blind tests, DJ sets and concerts in a friendly atmosphere.

A tribute to cinema through the performing arts
The Cher Cinéma festival was born in 2025 from an ambition of the Scène nationale du Grand Narbonne (Théâtre + Cinéma): to create a unique event that celebrates the 7th art in all its forms, by combining film screenings and live performances. The festival's title is borrowed from a choreographic creation by Jean-Claude Gallotta, in which the renowned choreographer evokes his encounters with filmmakers Fellini, Godard, and Moretti in a dialogue between movement and cinematic memory.
A rich program of screenings and performances
For six days in February, Cher Cinéma offers a dense and eclectic program. Film enthusiasts can attend previews, national releases, heritage films, and short films. In parallel, three performances pay tribute to cinema: « Cher Cinéma » by Jean-Claude Gallotta (dance), « Seule comme Maria » in which Narbonne actress Marilou Aussilloux explores the life and career of Maria Schneider, and « On fera mieux la prochaine fois ».
An emblematic venue of Narbonne's culture
The festival takes place at the Théâtre + Cinéma, Scène nationale du Grand Narbonne, located at 2 avenue Maître Hubert Mouly. This major cultural venue combines a performance hall, art-house cinema screens, and a friendly space, Les Comptoirs, where festival evenings continue with blind tests, DJ sets, and concerts. This synergy between cinema and performing arts is at the heart of the Scène nationale's identity.
Meetings and festive moments
Beyond screenings and performances, Cher Cinéma offers meetings with actors and directors, exchanges with the public, and moments of conviviality. The Comptoirs du Théâtre + Cinéma host festive events every evening that extend the cinematic experience in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The festival is aimed at both discerning film buffs and spectators curious to discover cinema in a new way.
