The market is set up each year on the banks of the Oise, transformed for the occasion into a festive space welcoming local artisans and merchants. The wooden chalets house a selection of carefully chosen handmade creations: jewelry, ceramics, decorative objects, textiles, natural soaps, and fine food products. The smell of mulled wine, roasted chestnuts, and sugared waffles fills the winter air, inviting passers-by to linger among the stalls. Local producers from the Val d'Oise offer honey, jams, cheeses, and wines to adorn holiday tables.

The Christmas Ice Rink and Train

Cergy's market stands out for the quality of its entertainment. An outdoor ice rink is set up each year in the immediate vicinity of the market, allowing both children and adults to skate under the stars in an illuminated setting. A Christmas train connects the market to the town center, allowing visitors to reach the site easily while enjoying a festive ride decorated in Advent colors. Musical entertainment – brass bands, choirs, winter jazz groups – creates a warm and joyful sound atmosphere throughout the weekend.

The Big X-Mas Market at Le Forum

The performance and event venue Le Forum, a hub of Cergy's cultural life, organizes its traditional Big X-Mas Market, an indoor market dedicated to independent creators and artisans. Designer jewelry, original works of art, world flavors, and wines from small producers are featured alongside acoustic concerts and friendly activities.
