World music under the cool shade of the trees in Clapiers
For its fifth edition, the Clapiers World Music Festival returns with a vibrant lineup, inviting audiences to immerse themselves in musical traditions from around the globe, all within the beautiful setting of Parc Claude Leenhardt.
Les Ânes de Palinkov
This Montpellier-based collective delivers a festive performance blending Bulgarian, Romanian, and Gypsy music with original compositions. Inspired by the sounds of the Balkans, these six improvising musicians take the audience on a borderless musical journey, led by the powerful vocals of Vladimir Gourko. Channeling the spirit of Tony Gatlif’s cinema, Matia Levréro draws inspiration from the freedom of Gypsy culture to create music that is by turns poignant and sensitive, or wild and energetic.
