Corsica.Doc — edition 2026
For its 20th edition, Corsica.Doc puts youth on the screen from October 5 to 11: from the 1970 Woodstock to today's debut films, around twenty movies explore adolescence through cinema. Guillaume Brac will present three films, Lila Pinell will close the festival with King David and Shana, and the New Talents competition brings together 14 debut films from all over the world.
The Ajaccio International Documentary Film Festival takes place from October 5 to 11, 2026, at Cinéma Lætitia and Cinéma Ellipse, with free screenings at three of the city's media libraries. It has been organized every autumn since 2007 by the Corsica.Doc association.
The 2026 theme examines how cinema has captured youth since the mid-20th century. Around twenty guests (filmmakers, screenwriters, historians, critics) will accompany the films. The program also includes a lecture by Federico Rossin, a New Talents round table, pitches from the Corsica.Doc.Lab residency, and school workshops.
The New Talents competition features 14 short and feature-length films selected from 450 submissions. A professional jury, chaired by filmmaker Narimane Mari, and a jury of high school and university students from Corsica will present 5 awards.
