Electronic music festival on the Prado Beaches in Marseille
Delta Festival is an electronic music festival created in 2014 in Marseille. Located on the Prado Beaches, facing the Mediterranean, it has become in a few years one of the largest electronic festivals in the south of France. Over 8 hectares, with 6 stages, thematic villages, pool parties and after-parties, Delta Festival attracts 150,000 festival-goers each year for several days of concerts mixing electro, house, techno, hip-hop and pop.
Founded in 2014 by a team of young Marseille entrepreneurs, Delta Festival quickly established itself as the unmissable musical event of the back-to-school season in Marseille. During its first edition, around 6,000 people gathered on the Plages du Prado for a day of electronic music by the sea. Since then, the festival has continued to grow to reach 150,000 festival-goers over several days.
Delta Festival spans 8 hectares of the Plages du Prado, one of Marseille's most iconic locations, facing the Mediterranean Sea. 6 stages simultaneously host artists from all musical backgrounds, while thematic villages — health, start-ups, environment, arts, student life — offer entertainment, conferences, and workshops. Pool parties and after-parties extend the experience beyond the main concerts.
The Delta Festival lineup covers a wide spectrum of electronic and contemporary music: house, techno, electro, hip-hop, pop, and variety. The festival hosts international headliners as well as emerging artists. The 2024 edition, which celebrated the festival's 10th anniversary, notably featured Justice, SCH, Jain, Martin Solveig, and Gazo.
The 2026 edition of Delta Festival adopts the theme of "Rio Carnival", transforming the Plages du Prado into a spectacle of samba, feathers, and immersive scenography. From July 23 to 26, 2026, the festival promises to make the Mediterranean coast vibrate to Brazilian rhythms while maintaining its electronic and hip-hop programming.
