Des Bulles dans l'Espace, Comics come to Creuse
Each year at the end of February, the Cafe de l'Espace in Flayat hosts the Des Bulles dans l'Espace festival, an event dedicated to comic strips in the heart of Creuse. Led by the association Limou'Zine, the festival offers a space for interaction between authors and the public, in an intimate and friendly atmosphere typical of small independent festivals.
Meetings, workshops, and live drawing concert
The festival's program revolves around meetings with authors, who present and discuss their works, hands-on workshops open to all ages, and an evening live drawing concert, a highlight where an artist creates live on a big screen while a band plays. The 2026 edition notably features Agnes Debacker, Robin Cousin, Mathieu Sapin, and a live drawing concert by the group Watchdog accompanied by Benjamin Flao.
A free festival rooted in the territory
The festival is organized in partnership with Quartier Rouge and the Creuse Grand Sud media library network. Admission is free, and the event is part of the cultural dynamic of the Millevaches plateau, a rural area with a particularly rich and inventive cultural life.
