About TRAD' à la Source Festival

Every year, the Salle Culturelle de la Source in Évaux-les-Bains hosts a vibrant celebration of traditional music, featuring dance workshops, balls, and concerts. Over the course of a weekend, experienced dancers and beginners alike come together to enjoy everything from Morvan and southwestern dances to captivating polyphonic singing. This event is organized by the Tisane Pop association with the support of the local municipality.

Friday, September 11, 2026

  • 6:30 PM — Free concert by Polyphonies du Bocage, featuring hurdy-gurdy players Laurence Pinchemaille and Grégory Jolivet
  • 8:30 PM — Traditional folk dance (bal trad) with Sandrine Lagreulet and Cyril Roches (pay what you want)

Saturday, September 12, 2026

  • 10:30 AM — Congo de Captieux dance workshop (reservation required, pay what you want)
  • 12:30 PM — Shared picnic
  • 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM — Ensemble music and Morvan dance workshops (reservation required)
  • 5:30 PM — Dance session led by workshop participants (free)
  • 6:30 PM — Musical performance of "Les Maîtres sonneurs," based on the novel by George Sand
  • 8:30 PM — Grand folk dance with Trad'Adi and the Trio Meunier Villeneuve

"À la table de George Sand" catering and refreshments available on-site. Workshops €10, dances €8.
