The electro festival at the top of the Grand Massif slopes
Electro Snow by Pharaonic is an electronic music festival at altitude, born in 2024 in the heart of the Grand Massif domain. Every year in March, the resort of Les Carroz-d'Arâches hosts international DJs at the top of its slopes, at an altitude of 1,800 meters at the arrival of the Crêtes chairlift, for two days of concerts facing the snow-capped peaks. The result of a partnership between the resort and the Pharaonic festival from Cluses, a benchmark in the electronic scene in Haute-Savoie, Electro Snow combines skiing and music in a spectacular alpine setting.
Born in March 2024 from a collaboration between the resort of Les Carroz-d'Arâches and the Pharaonic festival in Cluses, Electro Snow is an audacious concept that transposes the energy of electronic clubs and festivals to the top of the ski slopes of the Grand Massif. The idea is simple but spectacular: set up a stage at 1,800 meters altitude, at the arrival of the Crêtes chairlift, and invite renowned DJs to mix in front of a panorama of snow-covered mountains.
The festival is part of the trend of music events in resorts that have multiplied in the French Alps in recent years — Rock the Pistes, The Unlimited Festival, Snowboxx — but it stands out for its local roots. The association with Pharaonic, an electro festival founded in Cluses and now a regional benchmark, guarantees a sophisticated and credible lineup, far from simple resort entertainment.
Electro Snow takes place over two days, usually the last weekend of March, when snow conditions are still excellent and the days are long enough to enjoy sets in broad daylight. The format is deliberately concentrated: no dispersion across multiple stages, but a single stage at the top of the slopes, creating an intense communion between the artists, the skier audience, and the alpine landscape.
Festival-goers can ski all day on the Grand Massif domain — one of the largest in Haute-Savoie with 265 km of slopes connecting Les Carroz, Flaine, Morillon, Samoëns, and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval — then converge towards the stage for late afternoon and evening concerts. The atmosphere blends the relaxed vibe of winter sports with the festive energy of electronic events, in a unique setting where ski suits and sunglasses meet light shows and powerful bass.
The Electro Snow lineup is curated by the team of the Pharaonic festival, which brings its expertise and network in electronic music. From its first edition in 2024, the festival showed clear ambition by hosting Sound of Legend, a world-famous masked DJ known for his remixes of 90s and 2000s dance hits, accompanied by Eymeric Paire and DJ Deal.
The second edition, in March 2025, confirmed its growing momentum with a lineup enhanced by Feder, a French producer and DJ with millions of streams, Boris Way, a rising star on the French electro scene, as well as Mikkiface and Aohna. The festival aims to host renowned artists from the French and international electronic scene every year, staying true to Pharaonic's artistic direction.
Les Carroz-d'Arâches is a family-friendly and welcoming resort in Haute-Savoie, nestled at an altitude of 1,140 meters in the heart of the Grand Massif. Unlike large concrete resorts, Les Carroz has retained its Savoyard village character with its wooden chalets, local shops, and friendly atmosphere. The resort benefits from remarkable sunshine and quick access from the A40 motorway (Cluses exit), just an hour from Geneva.
Electro Snow contributes to animating the end of the winter season, a period when ski conditions remain excellent but tourist numbers decrease. The festival thus participates in the economic dynamism of the resort while strengthening its attractiveness to a young, music-loving audience.
Third edition of Electro Snow by Pharaonic in Les Carroz-d'Arâches, March 28-29, 2026. DJ sets at the top of the Grand Massif slopes at 1,800 m altitude. Lineup to be announced.
Electro Snow by Pharaonic returns for its third edition on March 28-29, 2026, at the top of the Les Carroz-d'Arâches slopes. After the successes of Sound of Legend in 2024 and Feder and Boris Way in 2025, the festival continues its rise with two days of DJ sets at 1,800 meters altitude.
The full lineup will be announced in the weeks leading up to the event. The concept remains unchanged: artists from the French and international electronic scene mixing in front of the snow-capped peaks of the Grand Massif, in that unique atmosphere blending skiing and music that has made the festival's reputation.
The festival takes place at the top of the Les Carroz-d'Arâches slopes, at the arrival of the Crêtes chairlift, at an altitude of 1,800 meters. Access is exclusively by ski lifts from the Les Carroz snow front.
A ski pass is required to access the festival site via the ski lifts. Access to the concerts is included in the ski pass.
Bring warm clothing suitable for the altitude (1,800 m). Mountain weather conditions can change rapidly. Sunscreen and sunglasses are essential in March.
