Elektric Park: Fifteen Years of Electro on the Seine
The story of Elektric Park begins in 2010, when French DJ and producer Joachim Garraud launched Inox Park on the Île des Impressionnistes in Chatou, in the Yvelines department. The choice of this exceptional site—the island that inspired Renoir, Monet, and the Impressionist painters—is no accident: the aim was to create an event where nature, art, and electronic music meet, just 30 minutes from Paris and 20 minutes from Versailles.
From Inox Park to Elektric Park
For seven years, the festival grew under the name Inox Park, becoming a must-attend event for techno and house lovers in the Paris region. In 2017, the festival reinvented itself and took the name Elektric Park, marking an opening towards more varied styles: bass music, hardstyle, hybrid live, hardcore, while strengthening the work on visual and scenographic experience. This transformation was accompanied by a surge in popularity with international headliners and increasingly immersive scenography.
The Île des Impressionnistes: A Unique Site
The Île des Impressionnistes offers an incomparable natural and historical setting for an electronic music festival. Stages are set up on the banks of the Seine, surrounded by greenery, creating an atmosphere that is both festive and bucolic. The site is easily accessible from Paris via RER A or by car, and has dedicated parking.
A Diverse and Demanding Program
Over the years, Elektric Park has hosted the biggest names in the international electronic scene: Dirtyphonics, Fatima Hajji, Flux Pavilion, Camo & Krooked, Adaro, Ran-D, and many others. The festival generally features around thirty artists spread across several stages, mixing headliners and emerging talents in a program that embraces all currents of electronic music.
Commitment and Innovation
Elektric Park stands out for its commitment to accessibility and scenographic innovation. In 2021, the festival offered free entry to healthcare workers as a thank you for their commitment during the pandemic. The 2025 edition inaugurated a format with a 360° stage, placing the audience at the heart of the musical and visual experience. The festival welcomes nearly 30,000 festival-goers each year.
