Free open-air music festival at the Théâtre de la Nature in Narbonne-Plage
The Théâtre de la Nature in Narbonne-Plage offers an exceptional setting for the ELIZIK' festival. This open-air amphitheater, nestled in the heart of the seaside resort, can accommodate up to 2,700 spectators under the Mediterranean stars. Every evening in July, music lovers gather in this magical place for concerts that begin at 9:30 PM, carried by the sea breeze and the summer atmosphere of the Narbonne coast.
ELIZIK' stands out for the diversity of its programming, which boldly and sensitively brings musical genres into dialogue. Over the years, the festival has hosted artists as varied as Stephan Eicher, Nathalie Dessay, the Gipsy Kings, Stacey Kent, Roberto Alagna, Chimène Badi, and Natasha St-Pier. The artistic direction, sponsored by conductor Daniel Tosi, ensures a unique musical experience each evening, blending great classics from the repertoire, flamboyant tributes, and new discoveries.
One of ELIZIK''s strengths lies in its complete freeness. The five evenings of the festival are accessible to everyone, upon simple reservation via the City of Narbonne website or at partner pickup points (Narbonne-Plage town hall, Cultura Narbonne). This open access policy democratizes quality music and brings together a broad, intergenerational audience, from families to seasoned music lovers.
ELIZIK' is resolutely committed to an exemplary environmental approach. The festival has eliminated diesel generators in favor of a battery system, converted all concert lighting to LED, and eliminated 90% of plastic bottles through the use of eco-cups and water fountains. This ecological transition makes ELIZIK' a model of eco-responsible festivals on the Mediterranean coast.
ELIZIK' returns from Tuesday, July 7 to Saturday, July 11, 2026, for its 11th edition in Narbonne-Plage. This year, the free festival takes place in two locations: the Théâtre de la Nature in the heart of the Clape massif and the new Didier-Mouly esplanade facing the Mediterranean. The program for these five evenings includes: Sinclair, Les Négresses Vertes, Jérémy Frerot, Yvan Cassar & Anne Sila, and a tribute to Tina Turner by Sandraline.
For its 11th edition, the ELIZIK' festival offers five evenings of free concerts from Tuesday, July 7 to Saturday, July 11, 2026. The program, eclectic as usual, blends pop, rock, soul, and great voices from the French scene. New for 2026: concerts are spread across two sites, the Didier-Mouly esplanade by the sea and the Théâtre de la Nature, the open-air amphitheater nestled in the Clape massif.
Evenings at the Didier-Mouly esplanade are free access. For concerts at the Théâtre de la Nature, reservation is mandatory and opens on June 23, 2026, on the Narbonne City website. All concerts start at 9:30 PM.
