About Equit'Art
Equit'Art was a performing arts festival held first in Pau and then in Lescar, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region. It brought audiences together through the performing arts to raise awareness about fair trade, international solidarity, sustainable development, and humanitarian commitment. Two editions are documented: September 18, 2009, in Pau, and August 28 and 29, 2010, at the Remparts in Lescar. The festival is no longer active.

Equit'Art: Performing arts and fair trade
The name Equit'Art is a play on the term 'fair trade' (commerce équitable). The festival's goal was to promote the performing arts and regional events while championing messages of international solidarity, including fair trade, sustainable development, and humanitarian action. The organizing association used art as a medium to engage the public with these causes.
Two documented editions in 2009 and 2010
The festival's first public appearance was on September 18, 2009, in Pau. The following year, Equit'Art took place at the Remparts, at the foot of the historic city of Lescar, over two days: MINE DE RIEN on Saturday, August 28, 2010, at 5:30 PM, and SCARECROW on Sunday, August 29, 2010, at 2:00 PM.
